A beautiful 13.09ct pear aquamarine has been lovingly hand set into a 9ct yellow gold setting to create this unique new design. Named Ara, deriving from Armenia, meaning "brings rain". Rainwater is symbolic of new life, growth and possibility.
Aquamarine was believed to be the treasure of mermaids and was used by sailors as a talisman of good luck, fearlessness and protection.
